This annual tradition not only celebrates their love of wine but also their friendly rivalry. Each year, one brother selects the wine—typically a full-bodied red from the Marananga region of the Barossa—and designs a label that playfully highlights an unfortunate experience of the other. The label features two mascots: Big Dog (Andrew) and Little Dog (Stuart). As for who the real “Top Dog” is, well, that’s for you to decide.
To mark the 6th anniversary of Top Dog, Norwood partnered with the CSIRO to create a truly unique, state-of-the-art wine pack. In line with Norwood’s tradition of innovation in packaging design, this special edition incorporates advanced technology, including flexible electronics and radio frequency identification (RFID), allowing the pack to light up when activated. This project is a showcase of the future of print technology, seamlessly combining tradition with cutting-edge innovation.
